We will be running a multi-activity FunnCamp during the May Half Term. The kids will enjoy a wide range of activities such as Nerf Guns, Arts and Crafts, Archery, Bracelet-making, Bouncy Castles, Animal Masks, Football, Dodgeball, and much more.

WHAT TO BRING
Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and a bottle of water.
For allergy reasons, please ensure your child doesn't have anything that has nuts in it.
Regarding clothing, please ensure your child wears something they can run around in, e.g. trainers, joggers, etc.

ACTIVITIES
Kids attending FunnCamps participate in sports and arts and crafts activities. We currently facilitate many activities at the FunnCamp in Millfields; the sports activities include but are not limited to Nerf guns, football, dodgeball, tennis, rocket launching, parachutes, darts and sports day games. We always seek to add more sports activities and will promote new sports as and when we add them. Our arts and crafts activities are themed in relation to the holiday period, e.g. Christmas FunnCamps arts and crafts will be Christmas-themed. Children take the arts and crafts they’ve done home with them.

Different activities take part in different facilities within the school. The facilities we use at the camp include the whole playground, classrooms and the two main halls.

DROP OFF/PICK UP
Parents drop off their children at the camp using the main entrance, Hilsea St, Lower Clapton, London E5 0SH. Registration ends at 9:30 AM, at which point we close the gate. You must contact us to be let in if you arrive after 9:30 AM.

Picking up your child is done using the same gate. The pick-up time is no later than 3:30 PM (Standard Time). If you arrive earlier, you’ll have to wait at the entrance in front of the gate, as the gate will most likely be locked for safety reasons. The kids will line up alongside the fence, and coaches will call each child to go individually with their parent/guardian. It’s important that kids go home with the right parent/guardian, and this process allows us to do so. Please be patient with the coaches during pick-up time.

Late pick-up for children is at 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM. As a courtesy, we request that parents arrive a few minutes before the designated pick-up times to ensure timely pick-up of their child. Please note that we only have these two times available as the gates need to be closed for safety reasons, and it stops coaches from going back and forth to open/close the gate and ensures kids go home with the correct parent/guardian. Parents can call or message the coach to arrange their child's pick-up in an emergency.

BOOKING PROCESS
Once you select "Book Now" or "Select dates to book", you can start registering your child on the system. You'll be able to add medical info, choose dates, add emergency contact numbers, etc. All coaches at the club have access to registers and parents' phone numbers. We have full access to the system, so we can instantly view your child's info, send emails, call parents in emergencies, etc. We'll contact parents immediately to inform them of an occurrence in an emergency. Booking is done before your child's attendance, any time before the club starts. Parents can book individual or multiple days, as they wish.

If you cannot reach us over the phone, do WhatsApp or drop a message, as we may often be busy with the kids in our provision and would prefer the latter. We will always contact parents in case of an emergency. Our WhatsApp is connected to all of our coaches, so all messages/calls through WhatsApp will be seen by all Lead coaches for our camps.

OTHER METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept payment via both Childcare vouchers and Tax-free childcare. Our OFSTED number is 2710882. If you would like to use either of these payment methods, please send us an email at hello@thefunnclubb.co.uk or follow the steps outlined below.

Please note that if you plan to make bookings during the camp, we can only accept bookings and payments made online.

CHILDCARE VOUCHERS

Please ensure you've checked that there is space in the camp before you proceed. Also note, we don't accept childcare vouchers during the camp. You can use this before the camp starts. This is due to the admin time required to set up.

1. Look us up using our OFSTED number 2710882 and pay to the correct setting. Please use your childs name as reference where possible.

2. Email us with a confirmation of payment, such as a payment slip and the dates/times/location you'd like to book.

3. If you've never booked with us before, we'll send you a link to register your child. This step can be a little confusing for some. It's only to have your childs details on our system. (medical info, contact no's etc.)

If you've booked with us before. Miss this step.

4. We'll then send you a booking confirmation and a receipt for your booking to your registered email

Email us if you have any questions in regards to booking with us using childcare vouchers.

TAX FREE CHILDCARE

Please ensure you've checked that there is space in the camp before you proceed. Also note, we don't accept payments made through tax free childcare during the camp. You can use this before the camp starts. This is due to the admin time required to set up.

MEDICAL INFORMATION
If a child is injured, hurt or any other such case. We will contact the parent/s and inform them of what has happened. We have a full medical First Aid bag with us, so if your child has a minor injury, such as one that requires a small plaster, we won't inform you until you've picked your child up.

PICTURES/MARKETING
We will take videos/pictures of the kids participating in different sports for social media and marketing purposes. Pictures/videos won't focus on any particular children (unless you've given us consent to it). A whole group picture/video will be taken at the end of each day to be posted on our social media sites. If you still do not consent to any group photos/videos with your child included, please let us know via email.

PAYMENT/REFUNDS
Parents/Guardians are entitled to a refund, provided The FunnClubb are given 72 hours' notice before attendance. This can be done by sending us an email requesting a refund along with the dates you wish to cancel. The refund will then be processed on the same day. Payments made to us online are subject to Stripe fees:1.5% +20p and an application fee of 3.1%. In total, 4.6% + 20p. This will be taken out of your final refund amount and then issued. Those fees associated with online payments are not taken by us but by the platform (Class4kids) and card processors. Please allow 5 – 10 days for refunds to be in your account.

If your child cannot attend due to illnesses, COVID-related or similar issues. You can request a refund. Please inform us at hello@thefunnclubb.co.uk at least 48 hours before the day of the camp with proof, e.g., a sick note, doctor's note, etc., and a refund will be processed immediately.

COACHES
The ratio for our camps is 1 Coach to every 10 children (minimum) and one coach to every 14 children (maximum). All coaches at the FunnClubb are DBS checked, FA First Aid qualified, and Safeguarding qualified unless they’re training with us, in which case a coach with the relevant qualifications will always accompany them. TOILETS
Kids will use the toilets located within the school. Children can use the toilet at any period during the day. A FunnClubb coach will always accompany children to the toilet and wait outside until they’re finished to take them back to their activities.
